What is your minimum lease?
All leases are a minimum of three months or more. Leases usually start at the beginning of the month and end at its end.
What are the hidden costs, such as utilities or internet?
The rent includes all costs, including utilities and internet. The only additional fees are the $130 cleaning fee, which is deducted from your security deposit, and the one-off fee that you pay directly to the front desk at the River Place buildings when you register with the building and receive your id card for your access to the pool and fitness center. Depending on the building, this charge is $25-$50.
What is the access to the wifi login and password?
The login and password are on the back of the wifi. If it has changed then you need to reset the wifi and enter the login and password printing on the back.
Is parking available?
Parking is available for $125 per month. We do have a limited number of parking spaces. If we do not have one available for the period requested, then you can check with the parking office at 703-276-9810. Alternatively, look on craigslist under housing and under parking/storage, then search for River Place. You will usually find 3 or 4 parking spaces for rent.
How do I make a reservation?
After emailing or calling us, we will send you a lease. You sign the lease, scan it and email it back to us. You place a $1000 deposit to our Wells Fargo account. That deposit holds the apartment and then turns into the refundable security deposit, which as per the lease will be returned to you by check within 30 days of the end of the lease.
Is the Rosslyn neighborhood safe?
Rosslyn is very safe.
Is maid service included?
The apartments are cleaned and checked before each tenant moves in. If you need additional maid service, we will put you in contact with our maid service to arrange directly. Apartments are equipped with vacuum cleaners, and most tenants prefer to self clean.

What do I need to bring with me other than my personal items?
The apartments are fully furnished, including linens, towels, iron, ironing board, vacuum, and fully equipped kitchens.
Is use of the amenities (fitness center, pool, etc.) at River Place included in the rental rate?
Yes. Once you register with the building and pay the registration fee for the building (between $25-50 depending on the building), you are able to go to the Entertainment Center and get your access card to the pool and fitness center at no charge. In order to register, take a copy of your lease and an id to the front desk in the building.
How do I pick up my key on the day I plan to move in?
You present your ID to the front desk, and he will hand you over your keys. The front desk is generally available from 8am-10pm daily, but this may vary by building.
Are there laundry facilities on-site at River Place?
Yes. Each building has a laundry facility with 30 washers and 30 dryers.
What is the address at River Place in Rosslyn?
Each of the four buildings at River Place has a different address. The East building is 1021 Arlington Blvd, Arlington, VA 22209, North building is 1121 Arlington Blvd, Arlington Blvd, Arlington, Va 22209, West building is 1111 Arlington Blvd, Arlington, VA 22209 and the South building is 1011 Arlington Blvd, Arlington, VA 22209. If you are going to use GoogleMaps to locate the property or get directions, use the gate house address, 1615 North Lynn Street, Arlington, VA 22209. This will take you to the entrance of the complex, and the gate house personnel can direct you to the correct building.
Can I receive mail at River Place?
Yes, each apartment has its own mail box, which can be accessed near the lobby using the key supplied on the keychain. Packages are held at the front desk. Note that we cannot forward mail after the end of your lease.
If I have a maintenance issue, whom do I contact?
If you have any maintenance issues, send an email, and we will take care of it. If there is an emergency, you can always contact the concierge at the front desk in the lobby, who will get the on-call maintenance engineer to respond.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you cancel your reservation then you will forfeit your deposit. Once you make a deposit, the property is taken off the market.
Is there a telephone in the apartment?
The units are not equipped with landline telephones. Today almost all tenants have access to cell phones so telephone service is not offered. However, all apartments have cable and high speed wifi internet service.
